"After my triple heart bypass surgery, my overall health had obviously decreased, and physical recovery was very slow - even walking was exhausting. One of my church brothers encouraged me to practice Taichi, as he had personally experienced the benefit.
I accomplished the 24th chapter in 3 months. I practice 1 hour aday at home. Through this time, I feel much healthier, stronger, and even my chronic shoulder pain is gone, even without taking medicine. I want to share my positive experience with everyone so I can share the great benefits of Taichi with everyone."

"Given my full weekly schedule, it was very easy to put exercise as second priority. The many Martial Arts movies I have watched since childhood have kept my interest in Martial Arts.
I decided to pursue Taichi. It has been a great experience in learning Zhaobao Taichi for stress relief, philosophy, self defense, health and for a window into Chinese culture. My knee injury has not recurred since starting Taichi and I look forward to the many health benefits from this activity."

"My initial impression was that Taichi was something Chinese grannies did in parks for exercise, but it was not very long before my instructor, Grandmaster Wayne Peng, demonstrated that it was a very respectable martial art.
Before taking up Taichi, I was not inclined to exercise very much. Life in Silicon Valley entails many hours behind a computer, time spent sitting in traffic, or the demands of taking care of my family. My wife frequently encouraged me to get some exercise because I was overweight. The benefit of my practice hit home in August 2006 (1 year after started learning Taichi). My niece visited us from Taiwan and we took a trip. I went up and down the stairs and wasn't even a bit winded and I had not done any aerobic exercise, only Taichi every day. However, I noticed that many other people were tired by the experience. I noticed Taichi practice also helped improve my blood pressure. So I would certainly attest to its health benefits. "
